The misuse of the word "cooperation" from political journalists is really detrimental to understanding legal cases. Did Don McGahn limit his own legal exposure by responding to Mueller's requests? Yup. Is he John Dean? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The most damaging witness in the Scooter Libby trial was, IMVHO, David Addington. You could have convicted Libby based on Addington's testimony and Libby's notes alone. Was he cooperating against his boos, Dick Cheney? Hell no. But damn he was a useful witness.

The Trump Tower meeting and the Obstruction will end up being sideshows. They are merely the bread on this sandwich; the meat is the theft of the Clinton campaign analytics and its delivery to and use by the Trump campaign. And I'll bet Mueller has the receipts.

You're wrong, but you're entitled to your wrong opinion.

Awfully damned gracious of you to allow me to be wrong...

To be clear, obstruction may well be a sideshow. The Trump Tower meeting is not.

The Trump Tower meeting showed conclusively that they were willing (or anxious) to conspire with the Russians. The theft and use of the analytics showed that they actually did.

It's either sad or pathetic when "complying with legal obligations" is viewed as anything other than a civic duty. It definitely does NOT mean someone has flipped, or is "disloyal". Thank you for continuing to shine a light on this.
