I also pulled out examples of U Mich's entire Robinson Crusoe collection, which is AWESOME, and a really good example of how globalized culture has been here for quite some time. Which ALSO has an interesting message about immigration and white supremacy.

If I were still in academics I'd surely have written a book on Robinson Crusoe and global culture by now. Instead, I'm writing granular analysis of the Russia investigation.

A few members of the class were scruffy--they'd never been in an archival situation. They did fine. They were more jazzed about the manuscript bible.
