the pee tape part was possible deza. The rest appears legit. I commented when buzzfeed broke it, the dossier that was released came from the Trump camp to get ahead of it and delegitimize the entire document but more likely the story was planted by one of Steeles sources.

I guess you didn't click on the link but thanks for your disproven opinion.
-
I guess you didn't understand my opinion is that the deza dossier was semi successful ploy to distract the investigation and suspend disbelief that Trump is an agent of Putin. I figured that out the day i read the dossier, unlike the years it seems to have taken the rest of you
-
I guess you still haven't clicked through. That too much of a challenge for you?
-
I read it lady, what did I miss?
-
Start with "the rest appears legit."

so you are saying the entire dossier is illegit? we allready know most of it pans out. are you seriously hung up on the Cohen Prague thing? we all knew immediately you don't need a passport to get to Prague from anywhere in the EU and Cohen was in Europe at that time.
-
LOLOL. Thanks for lecturing me abt how smart you were at IDing deza while exhibiting zero knowledge of parts of the dossier that cannot be true.

Is it just from Waldman’s texts to Warner that Deripaska and Steele are connected? Or is there other evidence they communicated?
-
Yes, emails released to GOP propagandists last week.

Disinformation or not, Cohen's July '16 trip to Italy a week before the RNC deserves some scrutiny.
-
Those things are totally unrelated. I mean, if you want to scrutinize every Trumpster foreign trip, by all means. But it would require a time machine for Cohen's July trip to be the one described in the dossier.
-
Reading it again you are of course correct. The human source gave the information in October which is long enough that someone could name the wrong summer month. But then the Manafort cleanup stuff wouldn't make sense in early July.

I wonder: 1) The degree of disinformation that Russia fed to Steele was intended to discredit the eventual investigation (now under Mueller). They figured FBI valued Steele highly & enough disinfo would be on FBI's record. 2)If Trump's minions coordinated the discrediting w RU.

Head spinning but resolve intact. Excellent work and thrust of your hypothesis is bolstered by where we are right now. Summary if I may? Profit driven free world media easily distracted & manipulated by ruthless enemies who possess profound understanding of media ecosystem.

Thanks for this. I've heard you mention this possibility in the past, but didn't know the specifics where it would have made a difference.

Resistance is hellbent on perpetuating the now-old Trump-Nunes Steele dossier shiny distraction. P.S. I only saw this because...

Re: Kilimnik being Deripaska’s deputy — do we know the extent of their relationship beyond the Manafort comms? I’m struggling to understand the centrality of Deripaska’s role beyond speculations about those Manafort contacts

I came to this conclusion after reading Glenn Simpson's testimony. It planted bad information to throw the public and the investigation off track and it made Trump personally uncomfortable; his problems with Comey began with the attempt to disprove the contents of the dossier.
