“What in the Trump tweets highlighting the media’s widespread and obvious failure to cover the Ohr scandal can we fixate on to continue avoiding dealing with the substance of FBI spying on Trump campaign? Wait, how about this:”https://twitter.com/maggieNYT/status/1028703383836913664 …

If it had to do with any crime they wouldn’t need FISA warrants. They’d go with a straight warrant.
-
That's a non-sequitur answer revealing you have absolutely ZERO understanding of what I asked.
-
I don’t have zero understanding but admit it may be a nonsequitur if you look only at your perspective. I’m approaching it from a wider one.
-
No. THe FISA order for which Steele was one source is a tiny subset of what he has talked to DOJ about, the bigger majority of which is organized crime. My GAWD are all you RWNJs so stupid you adopt the pro-orgzanized crime stance?
-
Assume what you will I’m not here to convince you of anything. If Bruce Ohr’s meetings with Steele were authorized & connected to organized crime, explain why he was demoted and removed from duty after the Steele/Fusion/Simpson mtgs were discovered.
-
So you don't know?
-
I mean, until half a second ago you didn't even know Steele's expertise.
-
Ohr was on organized crime as well. Steele was fired by FBI. Ohr was removed from duty. Their meetings do not appear to have been authorized.

Steele is British, flew over, he would have nothing to do with organized crime. And that would be handled by a field office anyway.
-
Hahahaha. His expertise is organized crime and now you're covering for organized crime!!!! Love the pro-mob far right.

In that regard, Bruce Ohr was DOJ’s expert on Russian organized crime. I would expect that he had known Steele for years. When Steele confirmed that Trump was taking assistance from Russian OC/intelligence (same), Ohr would have been a logical point of contact.
-
Confirmed Trumpw with OC? That’s hysterical. You do know Steele testified in UK court that he thought the dossier information wasn’t worth the paper it was written on? Also, he is no OC specialist. He’s a political operative much like Fusion GPS for the past several years.
-
He spent quite a bit of time on Russian OC with British intelligence. Dossier not important - evidence of conspiracy with Russians quite strong. Stone will be indicted within a few weeks. Manafort will flip once convicted. As will Stone.
-
Ridiculous. Ohr lied about his contacts with Steele and about his wife working for Fusion GPS. He’s been demoted twice. All his notes have been turned over. He’s flipped. Your comments are just dumb Andrew.
-
Well, we’ll see soon how it all plays out.

Nah, EW, the Steele-Ohr collaboration is pure political mischief.

Isn't the documentation presented to obtain original & subsequent FISA warrants still the cornerstone of the Mueller investigation? Why hasn't that seen the light of day? Isn't DOJ & FBI obstructing?
-
No. You can read about it in Page's FISA.
