Here's my non puff piece on what Mueller seems to be investigating. https://www.emptywheel.net/2018/08/11/like-a-rat-fucking-stone/ … Downside: Unlike the NYT I don't treat Stone as a sweet old "piratical trickster." Upside: I actually present information of use.
Another upside: Unlike NYT's stupid ass puff piece, I realize Stone is not a focus JUST bc he knew what Wikileaks was going to dump.
I mean, Maggie helped with the article.
Well, what if he exposed all the lies he has fed them over the years about the Clintons?Lies they have run with and used.
Ooooo eeeeeee! What if?

I want so badly to see him do a perp walk. So badly.
I look forward to journalists asking themselves tough questions about their closeness to Stone after he goes to jail (at least an 80% chance at this point).
Inevitably, I think Roger Stone "gets it". What amazes me is that he has been on the loose for 50 years. He has impacted the executive branch perhaps more than anyone except Lee Harvey Oswald in the last century. The idea that he pops up in the news now and then is baffling.
The "Lee's(sic) who have had an impact on American politics is interesting and tragic: Robert E. Lee, Lee Harvey Oswald, and Lee Atwater. Each to his own lesser or greater degree. Just a coincidence, but an interesting one to puzzle with.
For some oddly inexplicable intuitive reason Stone reminds me of

Tiny skull, full of himself, talks nonsense...works for me.
Foghorn Leghorn, though, was fundamentally a nice guy, even if he was an idiotic blowhard. Stone? Evil to the core.
Excellent points both.
An absolute pile of a human being.
"For Grandpa, Due to EPOT, Possible Jeopardy"
I hope one day to pass Roger Stone sitting on the sidewalk on flattened cardboard with a sign between his knees so I can find something very interesting in the middle distance as I walk by.
Suggested EW hed: It will soon be Stone's time in the barrel
