Who is Adam Waldman?
He works for Oleg Deripaska.
He is the go between for Mark Warner and Christopher Steele.
He visited Julian Assange Nine times in 2017.
How can these three things all be true?

To be accurate, he is a lawyer/lobbyists who worked for three people: Deripaska and Assange, and in some form, Steele. Yes, those relations should present conflicts if this was a legal relationship, but not if it was a fixer relationship.

But these three clients are all on diametrically opposed ends of Russiagate : a Putin connected Oligarch, the boy scout "revealing" the conspiracy, and the man at the center of everything. What are the odds they'd all have the same lawyer?

No. Deripaska and Assange are on the same side. The question is why the boy scout (who is actually an intelligence professional, which is always more amibiguous than scouting) believed Waldman was operating in good faith.

Well because he, too, was working for Deripaska. He was texting Bruce Ohr in January 2016 about helping Deripaska get his visa. Also Deripaska is a huge Russiagate Skeptic. At least he claims to be. How does that put him on Team Assange?http://dailycaller.com/2018/03/08/the-ever-changing-russia-narrative-in-american-politics-is-cynically-false-public-manipulation/ …

I can't tell whether you're engaging in this discussion in good faith. No. Steele wasn't "working for Deripaska." He was talking about sources with someone who had used his intelligence ON THAT TOPIC.

this was before he was on the Trump case. this was in January. he was already friends with Ohr, lobbying him to help Deripaska get a visa. Likely, how he ended up using Waldman as his go between to Warner

Yes, and AS I JUST POINTED OUT that makes total sense, bc Ohr is the guy in charge of organized crime investigations and Steele's expertise is organized crime so it makes sense they were talking abt organized crime sources.

See, when you view everything on terms of the dossier, you tend to totally misunderstand the relationships and events that precede it bc you're trying to make the later event the causal event. It's ... bad analysis.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around the relationship between Steele, Deripaska, and Assange
