It's pretty telling that Trump's reaction to being told the special counsel still wanted to question him on obstruction of justice was to go out and try to obstruct justice.

According to the more responsible reporting Mueller told him he'd let half his obstruction exposure slide, at least for questions.

I'm not ready to say one was responsible and the other not, but, yes, I know he still wants to question on collusion too.

I'm sure you've seen me bitching about journalists who suggest he's only being investigated for obstruction. I'll continue to bitch until the problem is fixed.

Can you please explain why Michael Schmidt's reporting always seems to suggest Trump only has legal exposure on obstruction and not conspiracy? Is it mainly because he sources are from the Trump side, not the FBI/Mueller?

Nobody really has sources on Mueller/FBI side, though some people make better use of non-friendly witnesses.

Explains why we never see the Mueller indictments coming. Do you think it is plausible Mueller will hold off on any indictments involving Americans before interviewing Trump? Also, will Flynn and Papadopoulos definitely be sentenced in September, or will that be delayed again?

Dunno. ANother way of forcing an interview is to indict a bunch of people and name him Male 1 in it, which is what I'd do.
