Didn't it take you like two years until you even admitted this was happening when others noticed it when it first started?
-
-
-
Because the people who "noticed it when it first started" were actually witch hunting stuff that hasn't borne out.
-
Syria and Ukraine watchers weren't witch-hunting because we had seen Russia act with impunity and the assent of Western powers for years. Yet people like you ran interference for Putin at the most critical juncture and here we are. You only saw danger when its jaws closed on you.
-
Oh. Okay. Or maybe the Syria and Ukraine watchers were propagandists and still are, who make everything they touch suspect.
-
by "watchers" i guess you mean actual antifascists pointing out how Putin and Assad's governments are the primary sponsors of the international far right calling anyone a propagandist while keyboard jockeying for these fascist dictators is hilarious

Are Republicans really prepared to go down this rabbit hole? I never thought I’d see Republicans become the party for a foreign policy of moral relativism, but here we are.
-
My guess is the RNC used some of the data hacked by the Russians, so it wouldn’t just be Trump and his campaign going down for conspiracy, but leaders in the larger party.
-
That’s starting to look like the likeliest possibility. Or, at the very least, leaders are worried that full disclosures would cripple the Republican party.
-
I feel this is going to destroy the GOP as a national party. Not sure what replaces it, but it is going to be far worse for them than post-Watergate, which they were able to pitch as a rogue President not party.
-
They were able to pitch it that way because a nonzero amount of Republicans rebuked Nixon in the end. The closest we’re seeing to GOP resistance is from retiring members, and even their criticism is pretty neutered.

HINT: This really isn’t about the Russians. It’s about the Americans who sold out their country for power.

Of course Russia spies on all things USA. But when an American(s) is helping them, and that American happens to be the candidate and then the president, well then, we have a different ballgame.

But it's immaterial because it's being used as an excuse to call this a "witch hunt"!!! We do not CONSPIRE WITH the Russians!!!

Ah. The gop ‘normalizing’ treason. Btw, what proof does rand have that we did indeed interfere in Russian elections? To help putin win?

So frustrating to see WaPo yet again give hints of finishing up. It seems to me to be the opposite, unless he’s really ready to lay out the collusion. It seems like he’s still working toward a comprehensive accounting and isn’t close to finished.pic.twitter.com/kM4Orkzn9A

The thing is, though, the US and USSR laboriously worked out a modus vivindi defining the limits and boundaries of how far we would go with messing with each other because "causus belli" + nuclear weapons = BAD. Putin has tossed those limits and boundaries like Mitch McConnell.
