*I* choose to ignore it? That's outright bullshit. I've written extensively on it.

I was not aware they thought Page had "alerted" anyone. Before you jump to surveillance of a presidential campaign which is what a FISA on Page provided w the hops, you might have considered warning Trump when he hired him in March or April
-
That has been my problem all along. Out of the chute, they have seemingly treated POTUS with suspicion. When Page was hired in March, there was no Russian conspiracy in the air, other than that being plotted by Podesta as a campaign smear. Trump w/h/b given a defensive briefing
-
Well, there was Page. And they did nothing about him for another 6 months, after he had left the campaign bc his public activities had raised widespread concern. And there was Manafort.
-
The record ALSO shows that they were very very conservative even in that time frame, not using techniques they'd normally use (and did use on other parts of the investigation).
-
Also, wrt defensive briefings? TRump got one of the strongest warnings about Flynn possible. Trump still made him National Security Advisor.
-
General Flynn was a threat to Obama. He knows things the permanent political class would prefer to keep quiet AND he wanted to change or policy direction in Mid East. Obama fired him because they disagreed on these things Ya know, like Syria?
-
Well, Obama also fired him bc he was breaking the same kinds of rules people accused Hillary of breaking. And he wasn't well suited for his job.
-
But no, The reason Obama warned Trump is precisely teh same reason Trump might have gotten a warning abt Page--there was a serious counterintelligence investigation into him (on RU and Turkey).
