Doesn't Cohen flipping or talking about flipping make Trump LESS likely to pardon him? Trump hate perceptively weak & disloyal people, so why would he reward Cohen's perceived weakness with a pardon, even if it ends up damaging him in the end?

Barring SCOTUS prohibiting state/federal charges, Cohen can't be pardoned. He's being investigated in NYS for taxi medallion fraud.

Those who've flipped have done so 1) bc Trump was disloyal 2) bc they have families they actually like. Same seems to be true here.
