With older kids, at least they can give info to be reunited. A 9 mth old baby - OMG- to lose kids through sheer incompetence & crass indifference must be a crime. Child abuse? Child endangerment? F*ck fines. Those who promulgated this travesty should be tried in a court of law.

Not appear to be carefully tracked?? How about, who were taken from their parents and shipped across the country without records *so that* they could not be tracked?

Okay, so let's stick with American practices with African American children during slavery [& while slavery practices still in business afterwards, it seems]. And Native American children.

PS. It is time to open our eyes to Nazi Germany NOW. Are many not looking away & saying nothing out of the ordinary going on, this is the law, this is legal.

A long time ago, I was on a train in E Germany when the wall was still up. Train stopped so military/LE could question - me. Well, okay, I took photo of train station with concertina wire & dogs checking under cars during stop.

Everyone else on the train looked away. Just looking out the windows. Nothing to see. Soldiers with rifles asking me questions - German train even left the station late. Are we doing the same here? Gotta stop that now.

We’ve been to this horror show before. If the data is correct, 10-20 years hence, expect scores of “adopted” children to be found by their real families via forensic data. Time to call in the Argentinian missing/abducted children expertise.

Of course German trains are still running on time. Maybe it's a German thing and not a Nazi thing because most current Nazis look like they're too stupid to make a train reservation, much less meet a schedule.
