You’re claiming Sabu was a US intel asset? Sabu outs himself in IRC is an intel asset?pic.twitter.com/Jjr41IXZ4y
Let's see what I said ... "FBI was managing Sabu when he had a key role in hacking Assad in 2012." Are you disputing that FBI had flipped Sabu?
And then they trusted him with a highly sensitive intel operation. Right.pic.twitter.com/LIVpC9vKlt
I notice that for the second time you chose to respond to me by engaging in stupid word games. Had the FBI flipped Sabu at the time he hacked Assad and leaked those emails to WL, y/n? Or is it your contention the FBI had lost control of their mole?
“Word games”? You’re equating this with what FSB has done, not me! If you’re accusing the FBI of directing this document dump, you’d should probably have more evidence than association.
No. I'm suggesting that people who claim that what FSB (er, GRU) has done is new and unique to Russia are naive simpletons.
9/11 Truthers called me similar names when I debunked their arguments, too.
Great. When you "debunk" my claim that at a time when FBI was "managing" Sabu, he hacked and leaked documents, let me know. All you've done here is prove your facility at finding off-point GIFs, which is rather unimpressive even as far as GIF work goes, TBH.
I'm not disagreeing that other agencies and departments ran various kinds of destabilizing programs. I'd be naive to disagree on that. I'm just saying that's not what the State Department's internet-freedom work was about.
