I'm so sorry you think there's any logic in white supremacy.

Point out where I said that? These people are going to engage in increasingly violent attacks as their lives don't get better like Trump promised. That violence will either by v PoC or Trump.
-
" focus on explaining " implies using logic or reason , I think .
-
Fair point. Would you be happier if I said we need to start scapegoating Trump for what is coming? I don’t like that either bc it suggest he doesn’t deserve it.
-
I don't think anything works with Trump voters, low/no understanding voters. We build a coalition of the rest of us , the 75% of society who didn't vote for him .
-
I think there is a margin of Trump voters--certainly the Obama to Trump voters--that can be moved. If we don't move them the Trump faction will make US unlivable.
-
Agree w/necessity of persuading them, flummoxed as to how to go about it.Look at studies of ex-cultists?Similar psychology at play possibly?

Trying to appeal to American decency is a fool's errand, as Hillary found. We are not decent people. Must appeal only to self interest. That means health care and taxes.
-
I actually don't think taxes does it. We're well beyond the point where we can cut taxes w/o cutting services people value more.
-
Sorry but what I meant was re-distribution of tax burden back to the wealthy, not further idiotic tax cuts.
-
We agree then. Though I like to call that looting.

I wonder how much that stuff truly matters. People who vote for Trump's ilk don't pay attention to anything besides libs' tears. Think what we need to do is endlessly work to make sure people who oppose Trump vote from now until Trump is only a stain in the history books.
-
People who vote for Trump make up a variety. Outright racists? Nope, they won't be persuaded. But some will, especially if you give them reason to resent Trump.
-
If they haven't been persuaded by now. Daaaaaaamn. They're hopeless.
-
Were u “explaining” why Obama’s policies were hurting Americans? That’s the problem with many liberals, they think their view is the correct view, the morally superior view. That’s why Trump won & that’s why he’ll most likely win again in 2020.
-
Whatever dude.

Not that I don't agree with you in principle, but this
@RadioFreeTom pretty much makes the case.https://twitter.com/RadioFreeTom/status/1005663634528309248 … -
Trump's not non-falsifiable. It's that no one is trying. It's like how NBC put out NO social media piece proving Trump lied abt firing Comey bc of RU.

They're lying to you and stealing from you. Repeat that over and over and put all examples into one of those two categories.
-
Bingo.
-
I don't think it's Bingo. McConnell, Ryan...shit, all of them on both sides have been lying and ripping people off for decades. And, the person pissing those people off is Trump...so the Deps love him. They're fated to being the boiling frogs. Energy is limited...spend it wisely!
-
In other words I think the best bet is simply to tell everyone, one and all, to vote...we have the numbers!
-
People are going to go on television. They need a consistent message that can be repeated. This isn't the only thing to do, just one of many. This is about going on the offensive and defining the terms of the debate.
