If the superseding indictment was a tactic to establish probable cause to jail Manafort for witness tampering, his lawyers may have missed that point: they failed to address the indictment at all in the opposition.

Thanks. I understand why Manafort wouldn’t want to rebut the allegations here, but why not try to give the judge a reason to not place great weight on the indictment in determining whether to revoke house arrest?

One point I haven't seen covered are implications of the indictment for Trump.
