the only available read of this is that tiffany shouldn't take hits because she's not a real trump
[Glances left, right, strokes chin] Since when has Tiffany been liked by the masses? I don’t think she should be in firing line quite like the 3 other adult kids, but that’s not cuz she’s like. It’s cuz she’s neither a staffer or a public water carrier for Trump or TrumpInc
.
Other than a few Barron-related jokes that weren't actually about Barron, I haven't seen anything directed at him or Tiffany, who is smart enough to fly under the radar. But the others? Once you become involved in politics / running the country - you're fair game. Sorry.
I don't think this necessarily has anything to do with age. You're fair game to the extent that you inject yourself into the public debate over administration policy, or (along different lines) to the extent that (like Eric) you're involved in Trump's profit from his position.
Tiffany could be 34; the question is how involved is she in this mess her family has made. As far as we can see, the answer is not at all.
Tiffany is in charge of hiding the stolen money. Nobody would ever suspect her
My view on Tiffany is that as long as she isn't joining the political fray we should generally leave her alone.
Eric trump has no clue how old Tiffany is. Probably thinks she’s 16.
Tiffany doesn't seem to be involved in business or government with Trump so like her or not she is not fair game.
I think laying off Tiffany is probably for the best as she doesn't seem to be all that politically inclined, and isn't involved with the White House or Trump's business as far as I can tell.
Adult relatives should be out-of-bounds unless they involve themselves in politics/governance. (Jeb! and George W. are different from their siblings in this regard, for example.) Sasha and Malia wouldn't be fair game just because they turned 18 or 21.
As long as I keep not needing to know anything about who she is or what she's doing, I'll continue to "like" her in the same way I "liked" Jr. in 2015.
