That adorable face! And I love that name.

She came to us with it. She has a tiny dot of white at the tip of her tail, so I've long assumed someone mistook whatever they call lightning bugs in Hattiesburg, MS (where she's from) for June Bugs.
-
I don't think that's it. June Bugs are cute, fat beetles that cling to your screen door in spring and early summer. Skinny lightning bugs (fireflies) fly at dusk and are caught and put in jars. As a kid growing up in the Deep South, I think it was more her fat cute puppiness.

Likely part terriorist.
-
Very much a terrierist, as her "help" when I was gardening over the weekend makes clear.

looks like part Besenji.
-
She's a foster in large part because of her bark. She'd bark madly when in the kennels at the shelter, terrifying any potential adopting families. Also she has a tail like a Lab.
-
guess not a besenji then! they yodel

See, I think cats are supposed to climb onto the table. Dogs? Nuh uh.

Only at dinner for cats. Other times it’s a fool’s errand

Doge is taking a stand. That is a good thing.

Right now, Doge appears to be an island unto himself. I'm betting it's not exactly the outcome JuneBug was looking for.https://twitter.com/bmaz/status/1003717604601561088 …
