"Encouraging continued illegal hacking" is a pretty serious charge, and not one you could apply to any media organization. It's also just a complaint; the more telling reason this likely won't set bad precedent is that DNC didn't sue mainstream media outlets.

Yeah, but there's no evidence to that claim. And forgive me if I find pat notions of who does and does not count as "mainstream media" entitled to the privileges of being treated as media obnoxious.

1. If you're reading the tea leaves from the complaint, it's not fair to disregard alleged facts and then conclude that lawyers in the future will make similar allegations without a Rule 11 basis. Also, there is *some* evidence to support the claim.

Eh. I'll wait for the evidence. The Russians did a great deal to give themselves (and Assange) plausible deniability. And WL probably DID get stuff fr Russians they did not publish.
