So Rudy's admitting that Mueller has enough to name Trump as unindicted co-conspirator? Glad he has cleared that up.https://twitter.com/ryanstruyk/status/1000741954337083393 …

for trump, his republican allies and his base, this isn't about facts, it's all about feels. and that's what the messaging targets.
-
Which is BY DEFINITION an admission this will go to a political venue for resolution -- that is, impeachment.
-
no. it's not.
-
If trump & giuliani were confident the facts and law were on their side, they wouldnt be talking about public opinion and impeachment.
-
If Flood thought Trump could win by winning in court or w/Exec tactics, he wouldn't have come on with this strategy already in motion.
-
this whole argument about "winning in court" is absurd because trump will not end up in court. doj's position is that sitting president cannot be indicted and mueller is bound by that policy.

Oh. 1) SOL even on some of Trump's known actions (say, 12/29/16 deferral of sanctions) runs out 5 years later, so in that case 12/29/21. 2) Trump's testimony will affect aides (POTUS and VPOTUS was crucial, eg, in Libby case), who will end up in court.
-
3) Naming Trump a co-conspirator may lead him to end up in court, via any of several means.
