Rudy Giuliani is a bad messenger, but given that law enforcement can charge people with lying to law enforcement, I think it's legal malpractice for defense attorneys to allow their clients to answer any questions.

Sure. But there's a policy that if Govt employees refuse to be questioned about their activities, they have to resign.

I fully support the idea that gov't employees refusing to answer questions about their public duties should be required to resign. But it seems like the legislative branch is the correct branch of gov't to be asking the questions.
