Abundant tweets about civil liberties & national security. "Has a longer memory than an elephant & keeps more records than Jim Comey.” Legendary potty mouth.

If a lawsuit against a bank trying to stop a House subpoena sounds familiar, that’s because we’ve been here before. Like when Fusion GPS sued TD Bank to sue a (GOP) House subpoena for financial records. Fusion lost.

The options are Pap, Page, or Manafort. Given that there'd be an "or" after the name, it means all the wailing about FISA orders means the wailing was just wailing.

I don't think there has been enough attention to this redaction in the Mueller Report. It would *seem* to suggest Mueller gave serious consideration to naming the one of the three who'd fit in that redaction a foreign agent of Russia.

While we wait for these turds to go to jail, can we get the President to comment on the fact that some of his biggest fans think a small city mayor from the Midwest poses a dire threat to his reelection?

NEW: despite what told last week there is in fact no effort underway to further declassify any of the FISA applications. DOJ confirms it has not received any declassification orders from the White House.

When I say go thru each, I mean ask about each. Say, Feb. 18: Who was there? Where did you meet? How long did you speak? What did you say to Mueller about the investigation that day? What was his response? Did you give him any instructions? Make any requests? Talk about staffing?

If I didn’t have time to read the Mueller report, but wanted more than just a tweet or two or a newspaper headline, then this piece from Ben Wittes is what I’d read first. The best mid-length assessment of the report I have seen.

I don't think it's improper for the DAG to meet with the president. I do think it's improper for him to sidle up to the President like a schoolgirl.

After WL dropped the DNC emails, everyone else on the campaign was taking "rain checks" on RU approaches. But Manafort was sneaking into a cigar bar to lay out the plan to win MI, hear a plan to carve up Ukraine, and figure out how to get paid.

I wish there were a block button just so your own followers don't see someone who follows you (unless they follow directly). I have trolls I find useful for viewpoints I don't share, but they tend to hijack my readers, making my own TL a mess.
