I wrote about our daughter's experience, the reality of pediatric brain cancer – 6 surgeries, infections, the ICU, seizures, chemotherapy, and her death. I spent weeks learning what we can do to save other kids. I'd be honored if you'd read & share.

The political job industry is opaque, difficult to navigate, and 99% reliant on connections. We should do more to make the process more transparent and accessible. How can we build up the current + next generation of political staff if they never get in the door to begin with?

Thank you, . For too long we've pushed grief, pain, heartbreak aside. These 500,000 Americans lives mattered. They were loved by their families. I know my two uncles who died of covid were, and they deserve to be remembered. 💛

The president of the US this evening paid a visit to the apartment of Bob Dole, who three times sought that office and was the GOP nominee in 1996. At 97, Dole has Stage 4 lung cancer and starts treatment Monday. Imagine what it meant to him to have this show of respect.

Neera Tanden is smart, experienced and qualified to lead OMB. I hope she's confirmed. We should always remember that there will be a Republican President in the future who will want to have his/her nominees confirmed.

For years, I’ve worked side-by-side with my dear friend fighting for more inclusive and equitable economic policies. Yes, she’s a tough cookie, but it’s because she’s fighting so hard for the most vulnerable. is going to get her confirmed and I’ll be cheering!
