    Mr. Minister, most students at universities use social media to share course files, and to announce lecture schedules, emergencies and cancellation among others. please this matter is not "dealing with lugambo" as some people are referring to it.

    consented&passed it. Taxes help to finance service delivery. My worry is not about the small levy on . Its on achieving universal broadband connectivity, that is what will make data costs low. If the levy on can help on broadband roll out then ok for me

    We have prayers tomorrow Evening at St.Matia Mulumba(Old Kampala) to pray for her soul.

    Years ago I asked to bring me an extra tee for an outreach close to her home. The delivery was preceded by a 'fat joke' as usual😁 I didn't get to return it&have failed to look at it sans tears since she left us. Today I wore it & it's 'okay.' Hugs Rasta. Much love💕

    So they slap a 1% tax on Mobile money, and then give it as payment method for the insane taxes on

    How about the 1% new tax on using Mobile Money? Have we factored it in this nonsense. So in order to use social media, I pay 1) 200/= 2) mobile charges 3) 1% for using MM to pay tax. Do you see a problem here?

    Guys, u can’t pay the social media tax while on VPN. Blocking of OTTs might work but definitely doesn’t work while using VPN. I guess we are back to the election period times. I shall be sharing a list of favorable VPNs u can work with b4 the deadline day of 1st

    VPN has also been - included as an OTT, so taxes apply when using VPNs. They knew, we would try to circumvent.
