Anti-Israel or anti-Israeli government policy? Opposing Netanyahu doesn't necessarily make one anti-Israel, and that distinction is important to recognize.
#wordsmatter -
I agree. Just like opposing Trump doesn't make one anti-American. Many Americans oppose Trump. Are they all anti-American? Many Israelis oppose Netanyahu. Are they all anti-Israel? It's obfuscation to conflate the two, in my opinion. It means every country is a monolith.

Not sure what is meant by "notable choice". Whatever one thinks of JVP, this "choice" is natural. Do you think Tlaib should have sought a "Jewish ally" that does not support her or her views? And turned away an ally who does?
-
Yes she should listen to ppl who don’t think like her. Maybe just maybe she will learn something new. She is using JVP as a token Jew. And to quote

JVP is not anti-Israel by any stretch of the imagination. That's a smear, like saying Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, for example, are anti-American.
