Definitely a good time for someone to host a silent disco! Block out some fireworks noise, still have a good and safe time together. Make it a fundraiser (or don't; for all of your work and for the sake of being young, y'all definitely deserve a little bit of fun.)

That’s a great idea, especially the fundraiser! Edinburgh Zoo hold silent discos to raise money for the animals without upsetting them. It’s great fun and a good distraction as the headphones muffle any loud noises and the dance floor is kept well lit all night which helps too

This is a good reminder that many people are bothered by loud noises for many reasons, including medical & psychological. Doesn’t make us any less patriotic!
