Luxuriously soft ladycore queer. I ♥ hacks and snacks. These are the tweets you were warned about. Yes, I took the photo in my header. (she/her)

Last night, I read the question, “Are there any philosophers who justify making decisions according to their narrative value?” Basically, should you choose a life that makes for the best possible story as a guiding principle for living? It fucked me up.

That’s a really interesting idea to ponder 🤔 I got really into existentialism in late high school/college, but I’ve always had trouble really digging into different books. So much western philosophy seems to require a lot of background knowledge to understand.

It's basically what separates the humans from the animals, I think. Humans get "carried away" with the words.

I made the very choice, in 1994. I'm old and broke now, but I got some pretty good stories. Also, zero regrets.

I've taken a similar sort of view, where the question I ask myself when faced with decisions is "could this possibly have hilarious results?"
