    The intense storm complex in NE OK is now building more southwest than west...and weakening a little. Watch for localized areas of flooding. This may graze the Metro...or stay just east. Most of the rain and storms will stay in eastern OK today. 9:13AM MON

    Parts of eastern Oklahoma, near Okmulgee and Checotah, received around 6 to 8 inches of rain this morning! Flash flooding continues. The storm complex is slowly building southwest, moving into central OK. 9AM MON

    Persistent storms in NE OK are now starting to push southwest, into portions of central OK. If this trend continues, there could be storms in the Metro area later this morning/noon today. Stay tuned. 8:22AM MON

    Today will be muggy and warm with highs in the low 80s. Isolated storms are possible, more likely midday to early afternoon. A few storms could be strong to marginally severe. 6:30AM MON

    The storm near Rush Springs is severe, moving east at 25 mph towards Alex and Lindsay. Up to golf ball size hail and 60 mph winds are possible. We will have the latest on ! 4:35AM MON

    Severe storms in SW OK continue to move S or SE. Most have up to quarter size hail but the Elgin storm has up to 2" hail and 60 mph winds. Localized flooding is a concern. We will have the latest at 4AM on ! 3:46AM MON

    Summertime storms, like we had today, pulse up quickly. Without a steering mechanism high up (aloft), they can remain stationary and dump a lot of rain! That’s what happened in Del City this afternoon. It can be very localized. Check out Phillip Yarber’s backyard!
