CSPAN has posted the entire nearly 8-minute exchange between Kamala Harris and Kavanaugh on the Mueller probe. It is worth your time.

we love Edgar Allan Poe because he portrays universal human emotions like loss, grief, unrequited love, burying your enemy alive in the cellar and being scared out of your mind by a bird.

  6. I am having such hideous gleeful reactions to lines like this... “The president was already feeling especially vulnerable — and a deep ‘sense of paranoia,’ in the words of one confidant — in the wake of his devastating portrayal in Woodward’s book.” I really do hate this era.

As strong an analysis as I’ve seen re: the authorship of the anonymous op-ed.

Trump would've been out of office months ago if y'all took my advice and told him he's not man enough to jump a motorcycle over Dead Man's Gulch

  11. Huh. Seems too easy, on a few different levels, but that’s a hell of a lot of lodestar.

The *text* of the op-ed is painting a picture of Trump as an amoral child. But the *action* of the op-ed is bragging about how they have made Trump more effective at realizing his and the GOP's agenda.

  21. On the one hand, this is self-justifying narishkeit by someone who loves the word "lodestar." On the other hand, it is going to drive Trump ABSOLUTELY INSANE WITH PARANOIA!
