Congratulations to the cast and crew of the @MarzolfPrimary 3rd Grade production of “Stone Soup”. Our students did an amazing job and we could not be more proud as they shared the message that everyone benefits by contributing! #WeAreSA
We're celebrating 100 days of school today! 🎉 Students made crowns and took turns at the photo booth along with some fun writing and math activities! #WeAreSA#Titanpride#100daysofschool
Our students had so much fun making thank you cards for our Lending Library donors during Friendship Friday. The Lending Library carts are placed in the hall and allow students to choose from hundreds of books that they can read at school or take home! #shalerarea#friendship

Important thread here about why you should act with compassion when interviewing someone who just lost a loved one. Remember they are a person living through the absolute worst days/weeks/months/years of their life. Interviewing with empathy and respect goes a long way.
So I sent out a few tweets about insensitive questions being asked of victims' families yesterday. To explain why this is such a big deal to me, I want to tell you the story of Christopher Meis

Excited to be an AmeriCorps member for the next year. I'm serving the Shaler Area School District (Marzolf Primary!) where I'll be helping students with math. If you followed me for news then you won't find much of that anymore, but lots of education & service updates to come!
I will always be grateful that these families trusted me enough to open their doors and their hearts during the most painful time in their life. It wasn't something I took lightly.
