We have a feature in Rise that prevents you from being double booked. You can block off an event in your private calendar in your work calendar. How would you call this feature? (You can also set it up to copy/block all events from a calendar to another cal.)

New in Rise: 🌑 Dark mode 🏃‍♂️ Jump to date 🥷🏻 Auto-join meetings (optionally, of course) 🖼️ Flexible event overview Kicking it off with dark mode, for those who prefer not to have their eyeballs being blasted out of their sockets.

So maybe something like this? But but what's the difference between normal and never? That's a bit unclear. (Normal would be your default setting if you start using Rise. It won't be flexible, we might suggest how it can be improved. Never would not show these suggestions.)

Instead we could do something like this. There is a button next to the segmented control to disable the suggestions. Hard to find the right icon for this button (this one isn't). And, if a meeting is flexible we would not show the suggestions. So the button is unnecessary there.

I thought about turning the overview into an inbox. So you'd have to decide for each meet if you'd like to make it flexible or not. And if not: we will not highlight how to make it better. My concern is that you might want to go to 'inbox zero' we get a lot of no's. See sketch.

Yo design twit. I have another one for you. At we have an flexible meetings overview where you can decide what meetings you'd like to make flexible. We sometimes highlight meetings that can be made flexible. But we like an option to stop doing for a meeting.

In that case you would have to tweak all components to have set their own opacity for dark mode. Which feels very unnecessary. Or you would have to keep the opacity levels the same, which is a pain in the ass when it comes to finessing the UI.

Yo twitter. How do you handle dark mode? We have a bunch of colours with their own opacity which are different for dark mode. Like > We can't add the opacity to the color variable because Tailwind wants you to add the opacity separately.

Maybe I should change the header to 'Copy scheduling link' and when you click the list cell a toast will show up the scheduling link is copied to your clipboard. It's still quite easy to overlook the header and be confused what just happened?

Design twitter, I'm curious how you would solve this. 👇 In this example the bg highlight on the hovered list cell doesn't link to anything, which is confusing. When the item is hovered it shows the icons, which you can use to copy the link or edit settings/visit the link.

It's the . The software is buggy, performance isn't as great and support wasn't very responsive. And yeah, it's overpriced too. If anyone is still excited about it I'd be happy to send it to you.

I got three of them and regret buying one. Guess which one I regret and it's yours. 😂 twitter.com/workspacesxyz/…

One of best features got even better: Meet now supports having a default meeting duration and time window, which in most chases you don't need to change. Scheduling a meeting is just a couple of keystrokes away, and you don't even need to open your colleagues' calendars.

In one of our latest updates, introduced something new: Peek. Peek allows you to see more information about any event while you are still editing. Once you tried this you can't live without.👀

Made some changes to the setup last week. Replaced the iMac with a MBP + Studio Display with VESA. Can't recommend the VESA enough.
