Any thoughts on arxiv induced deanonymization?

While it's a problem on theory, I personally truly do not know who the authors of papers are 95%+ of the time even though presumably those papers are on arxiv. I suspect *majority* of reviewers a) hadn't seen the paper before and b) are honest enough not to cheat.

Thanks for posting. I’m not clear what the key argument was against double-blind peer review. In smaller fields, anonymity is truly not possible.
