I've never been on the MICRO PC, but have heard from someone who has, and they said that although reviewing was double blind, author names were revealed during the PC meeting and when challenged the PC chair said that was the custom at MICRO
That may have been true previously; however, I was told directly by one of the program chairs of MICRO 2019 that it was blind-to-accept, that is, no author names were revealed for papers still under review, and rejected papers remained anonymous.
I'm curious abut the CHI asterisk. Isn't that situation analogous to PC chairs who also know all author identities?
