My #1 speed reading hack: listen to the audiobook WHILE you read the book. Keeps you focused. Uses visual AND auditory processing systems. You will be able to increase your speed to 2-3x in no time. Trying to go back to regular reading will feel painful and slow.

How is anyone able to work on or think about anything other than AI right now? It's the most hyped technology in history and is still, somehow, way *way* underhyped.

Men secretly love jewelry. Watch them talk 100% seriously about "performance" of $10,000 watches. Why the charade? They can't admit they're buying male jewelry to signal wealth to an in-group

It is impossible to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it. It is impossible to get an *institution* to understand a new technology when its survival depends on not understanding it.

Important idea from : Marketers *speed up* innovation. “What?! How?” Imagine a world without marketers, where you make a product then *hope* people find it. It'd take a *long* time to get feedback So, marketers shorten feedback loops between innovators and customers

All your muscle growth happens on the last rep, at the point of maximum stress. Learning works the same way. If you understand 100% of what you’re reading, it’s like lifting 1lb dumbbells. Try to understand 80%
