Pedro L. Gonzalez Retweeted Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz adopting left-wing platitudes like "nation of immigrants" illustrates why conservatives haven't and cannot conserve anything.https://twitter.com/tedcruz/status/1375613541269467138 …

We are a nation of immigrants. The right way to come is legally by following the rule of law. The wrong way to come is by putting children in the custody of human traffickers and crossing illegally. pic.twitter.com/zLDKkzhtaa

He looks like he just emerged out of the Bayou's in that attire. Was he collecting Snake skins before he joined the press conference?

No one has ever disagreed on the premise; a nation of immigrants. The disagreement has been on the “rule of law” and the multiple hypocrisies (of both sides) that get exposed by it. Legal versus illegal and basic queuing is what it comes down to.

Maybe these “platitudes” are better described as “speaking the same language”. Maybe @tedcruz is serving back the same verbiage to drive a point in the same format from when it was originally offered. Purpose? Maybe to highlight hypocrisy of ones motive behind the words?
