My jaw literally dropped open reading that. It's so hard to fathom the fact that people still think this way, still believe this, still live in this absurd ignorance.
What's so surprising? A middle aged white woman from a small, relatively secluded southern town made a statement inline with beliefs she was taught in a time that was normal. Sucks big time but not surprising.
