    It is not up to to decide where Israel's capital is. That's up to Israel's government to decide - and it has been decided. Jerusalem is Israel's capital, and responsible reporting should reflect that.

    Even now, Hamas' ploy of moving the protest a day up to coincide with the embassy move bears fruit. The violent protests, called "The Great March of Return", were chiefly about claiming land in Israeli territory. But media outlets repeatedly disregard all that.

    How hard is it to write a headline which reflects the true order of events, and puts the emphasis on the party responsible for initiating the attack, ? Here's one way the headline could have been written: "Palestinian man attempts to stab Israeli soldier, is shot dead."

    A misleading headline from the , despite saying “We want to make sure we have enough for us &, if there is enough, we will see what we can do for our immediate neighbours — the fact that the Palestinians are in a bad shape right now is not in Israel’s interests”

    Nasty headline paints image of Israel maliciously hoarding supplies. Israel's health minister has said that Israel is looking to share excess doses with Palestinians. This headline grotesquely distorts that reality.

    We're all used to this kind of headline. Doesn't make it any more accurate or acceptable.

    How hard is it to write a headline which reflects the true order of events, and puts the emphasis on the party responsible for initiating the attack, ? Here's one way the headline could have been written: "Palestinian man attempts to stab Israeli soldier, is shot dead."

    It's not entirely clear what an "administrative capital" is 🤔, but considering all four branches of Israel's government—the presidency, executive, legislature, and judiciary—are in Jerusalem, this is simply false. Fix it, . (via )

    Yes, but compare average taxes across the globe this coming year. Assuming that coronavirus expenses need to be paid for somehow, it's reasonable to expect serious taxation hikes all over the planet, surely.

    Many might have missed this, but some are picking up: These tweets by are highly significant, and indicate a long-awaited recognition that UNRWA is an impediment to peace.

    We suspended funding to UNRWA, which is riddled with waste, fraud & concerns of support to terrorism. UNRWA is not a refugee agency; it’s estimated <200,000 Arabs displaced in 1948 are still alive and most others are not refugees by any rational criteria.

    Now that's a crucial background fact. Wonder how many journalists will include it in stories on Iran's "peaceful" nuclear ambitions? I won't hold my breath.

    Given that claims its nuclear project is entirely peaceful, this sentence in the of London is highly significant. Journalists, take note.
