I mean I do consider OSI somewhat chronically entangled with exploitation as well... at least as currently practiced. But I don’t particularly see why we need to adopt FSF or OSI. I would love to see if research into ethical licenses goes anywhere.
One recent alternative is https://licensezero.com/ by @kemitchell . I don't believe it concerns itself with ethics explicitly but a core theme is addressing a perceived exploitation possible under OSI.
