"I run a large event, should I cancel it?"
@WADeptHealth's guidance is counter to many other health experts, including@KCPubHealth who ask people to "avoid bringing groups of 10 or more people together" if at all possible.https://twitter.com/Seattle2019nCov/status/1235623518873612288 …Emily Cunningham added,

@ScottGottliebMD's guidance also differs from@WADeptHealth. Here are two threads he's written that speak to this: 1. https://twitter.com/ScottGottliebMD/status/1235568500774768640 … 2.https://twitter.com/ScottGottliebMD/status/1236474351333052416 …Emily Cunningham added,
Scott Gottlieb, MDVerified account @ScottGottliebMD5/n We need a uniform and timely approach to mitigation and social distancing that local, state officials can follow and clear set of principles on when to adopt the measures. School closures, event cancellations, other aggressive steps need to be implemented now in certain areasShow this thread1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Suggestion: calling out (when you can – I know running this account is hard!) when advice from one expert or agency differs from another. That will alert people that there is disagreement and hopefully they'll act more conservatively / safely.

This is terrific guidance, thank you yet again Emily. The value is in the nuance and the details. Are you aware of anyone who's aggregate the current guidance / recommendations? If not, it may be worth trying to crowdsource ourselves.

Unfortunately, I'm not. A point
@ScottGottliebMD made earlier is that there isn't any uniform guidance from the federal government to help guide local and state officials on how and when to make the calls:https://twitter.com/Farzad_MD/status/1236781317003579392 …Emily Cunningham added,
Farzad MostashariVerified account @Farzad_MD"There's no systematic plan for when a city should close schools, when they should tell businesses that they have to telework, when they should close movie theaters, cancel large gatherings. We.. should have recommendations to cities and support from the federal government" https://twitter.com/ScottGottliebMD/status/1236780192284258310 …1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Part of what we're dealing with is the chaos and disorganization this pandemic is causing. It also exposes how unprepared we are. Possible good topic for your feed: how we're transitioning from unprepared to prepared, disorganized to organized. How people are collaborating, etc

I like your idea to crowdsourcing latest local, state, fed gov (and experts? since we know many govs have made many blunders - see thread on the Netherlands blow) recommendations, and how they've changed over time. That stuff is very hard to stay on top of.https://twitter.com/NaomiOhReally/status/1236738156667559946 …
