My $.02... there's a real need for local updates, so I'd love a big focus to be local. (55%) However, national and international updates give context and people a sense of how severe it is. (15%) Tips and reminders will help keep us safe! (15%) Scientific news give hope. (15%)

Here's another bucket that I think is helpful: *analysis,* especially kinds that help people assess the problem. For the national and international news, what I find helpful are: 1) How bad is it (to serve as a warning to us and others). The situation in Italy is telling because they have free health care, and are a democracy. 2) What's working and why / lessons learned

Another important topic is the justice/equity lens of this disease. Who are the most vulnerable due to systems of oppression in place (homeless people, working class and poor ppl, people of color, women)? How is
#coronavirus impacting and harming them? How severely? etc1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
For local news, important topics for me are: 1) TESTING, how available and easy are they? How many? Analysis of how it's going. How many 2) Mitigation strategies. What are local/state governments saying? What are businesses and orgs voluntarily doing. 3) Mishaps/blunders.
