If Seattle leaders are recommending events with more than 10 people be canceled, and that workers telecommute, why is it that schools are still open? Makes no sense.

Here is a super conservative estimate: Take a school with 500 kids. Assume 800 parents. 10 touch point per parent per day. That is 8000 touch points per day! When the officials say “avoid crowds”, that constitutes a crowd from a risk perspective. a significant one!
