Tests are not available in quantity in the US. California had only 200 test kits available as of last Thursday. People with symptoms but not a history of travel have largely not been tested.

Yes...but the people responsible for planning and preparing like that were all fired by the Trump administration back in 2018. So we have vastly fewer tests available than say, South Korea.
