The world is filled with people that don't meet many bars of morality. These people can't simply be disregarded if one wants to build a movement that stands any chance of turning the tide of public opinion. We are all in this together, even those whom one disagrees with.

Yes. But no real substanitive change in personality is possible in only 8 months. One could spend that time setting bars or one could realize that Presidential elections only happen every 4 years, and that the window for climate mitigation is only 10.
