I don't know how we move people unless we engage in a deeply personal way. It's not fair, but it seems to be what we're dealing with. People aren't moved by numbers and stats. They're moved by courage and meaning. Of someone risking (financially, physically, emotionally).

Because that helps pop them out of their petro-normalized existence. Things *are* actually that bad. All the things we love and hold dear are in serious danger. We will continue to lose species and preciousness from here on out for the rest of our lives.

I agree. That's why the question I'm posing is: "what makes it possible for people to meaningfully act on climate [in a sustained, long-term way]? I added that last part.
