Why? What’s hard about it? I honestly am trying to understand because it doesn’t sit like that for me.

A couple of things: 1) Showing emotions, having emotions is feminized and because of sexism that is seen in society as bad/weak/etc. 2) People are NOT given enough support for the very big feelings the climate crisis brings up.

These are both so true, and #2 is a big part of why I've been working on holding climate grief circles with my Sunrise hub. We really really really need more spaces where people can process their climate feelings so they can move through them to take action.
