The idea is that many people haven't gotten a chance to really think about and feel and be listened to about the climate crisis. And if given this chance, it will open up space for them to "wake up," as you say. And hopefully take action.
So the format is: people who want to participate in this gather together, have a round of intros, break into listening pairs and trade 5 minutes each of listening time (because we are able to listen better to others when we are first listened to), make the signs,...
(or come with signs already made), go off in pairs and engage with people around the question from the sign, and LISTEN to them. After a set amount of time doing listening with people in the public (an hour?) come back, do another round of pair sharing, debrief..
Do a round of appreciations for self or others or what people enjoyed, and then call it a day :).
