Heartbreaking. What did you say? Such a hard conversation because the answer is both devastating and terrifying: most will not because the climate is changing too fast for them to adapt. But that also seems like so much for a young mind to bear. But lying isn’t good either. :(

We went down the road of "evolution isn't that fast, and needs many generations to make changes, which is one more reason we need to slow down change", which was enough truth to tackle right before bed.
