You have been running a public trial on twitter for days against an academic. This is not how we critique ideas in the social sciences. It's all stemming from the fact that he voiced criticisms of a climate plan in the media. I don't agree with this. AT ALL.

Yes, but rightly so. David Victor is a climate advisor to a presidential candidate. The critiques raised are not "ad hominem." They are relevant and germane.
