agree. If you’re not following @KendraWrites, like what are you doing?
Speaking of terrifying, a gripping essay Kendra wrote about being a passenger in a car in another country & almost falling off the side of a cliff road still haunts me. The road was a mess due to climate.https://twitter.com/meganamram/status/1187549857109676032 …

"It's the screaming that wakes me up. The road is veering toward the right...We can no longer turn right & are heading off the road, which is to say off the mountain." "I'd come to observe climate change's impacts; the road forced me to actually experience them." ~

@meganamram Jfc, I don't know how you made it out of that situation,@KendraWrites. Out of all the ways one could die from climate change, I'm probably most afraid of dying by fire. But driving off a cliff is probably a close second.https://www.sierraclub.org/sierra/2017-5-september-october/last-words/close-bus-plunge-myanmar …0 replies 1 retweet 4 likes
also: extreme luck. i've almost died twice. broke my neck in a car accident, and then years later spent 11 days in the hospital for a bicycle accident. it was pretty much luck why i lived. but by the grace of a god i don't believe in, i'm here. lol
