A pet peeve of mine are public signs that say “protecting wildlife habitat” and not “protecting wildlife from humans” or “disappearing species” and not “killed species”. Word “disappear” has no cause and guilt and it should. We keep telling soft fairy tales to each other.
Language is powerful. Editors and writers with a deep power analysis are everything.
