      Between 45’s insanity & the new IPCC report on sea level rise - it could easily be a day I devolve into a sad, stressed mess. I’ll admit, that has happened quite a few times in the age of these harrowing news cycles. The world is a shitshow - what does it matter if I am too?

      But this morning, I’m listening to the birds. I just did a meditation (I love @InsightTimer) - I’m going to stroll and get a coffee and do some journaling and reading. Get some much-needed exercise. And actually tackle the work on my list.

      I’m not going to fall apart just because the world is. I’m going to be present, and focus on taking care of myself and loved ones - and doing what i actually can to help. It has taken years for me to get here. And some days I’m sure I’ll still get overwhelmed and fall apart.
