Shout out to Jay Inslee for dropping out. Seriously. That can't be easy, but we need to get real now. If you don't stand a chance, it's time to make moves.
Hard disagree. Inslee moved the Overton Window on climate. He *shifted* virtually every other candidate on climate. Getting real means fucking taking the climate crisis seriously. Inslee made that happen for al Dems.

If he was unlikely to win but forced everyone to get real with their policies, up their game, that would have been a continued good use of his candidacy.

Jay's candidacy was tight. He had an organizing principle and a vision, and put out a stunningly comprehensive blueprint for climate actions. People in WA are so accustomed to quality leadership, that he is taken for granted.
